Program Overview
Get students thinking critically about where our water comes from and where it goes, through conversations about droughts, floods, and the combined influence of climate and human activity. Students get hands-on with a snow water measurement activity to show one method of predicting water levels across the province. Weather, snow and time permitting, this activity can even be led outside on your school property!
This is an excellent topic to connect across science units!
