Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to join the fun at Regenerate 2024! By participating in this four-day summit, your words will be spread to hundreds of students and teachers, inspiring important discussions and stewardship actions that will shape the future of forested lands in Alberta. We really appreciate your time, commitment and enthusiasm to help us enhance forest and wildlife education in Alberta.

Speaker Registration Form:
If you have not already done so already, please take a moment to complete this speaker registration form. This information will help us ensure you have everything you need for your session.
Location:
All sessions will be in the Wildrose ballroom at Coast Canmore Hotel - 511 Bow Valley Trail, Canmore, AB (map). Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your session and check in with Inside Education Staff when you arrive.
Food, travel and overnight accommodations:
All of our guests are welcome to join us for lunch on Friday and Saturday. Please let us know if we should count you in on the speaker registration form.
Those guests traveling more than 300 km to Canmore are eligible for a mileage reimbursement of $0.24/km. Please submit a copy of this mileage form to [email protected]
Staying in Canmore. Unless otherwise discussed with your Inside Education contact you are responsible for arranging your own overnight accommodations in Canmore. Our room block is full, however the Coast Canmore Hotel still has rooms available, please contact the hotel directly to book your stay.

Panel discussions, Presentations and Workshops: microphones, wifi, speakers and computer and projectors are available for your presentation.

Saturday Tour Hosts: ideally you meet us at the Coast Canmore Hotel and travel with the group.
*we recommend dressing business casual to casual - jeans are a-okay at this event.
Audience:
There will be 80 high school students and 40 teachers from all across the province in attendance!
Tips for presenting to high school students:
- Start with a more personal introduction that includes what you do, how you got to your position and why you enjoy it
- Use lots of photos and minimal/bullet form text on your slides
- If showing graphs, make sure you explain them
- Avoid or be sure to define industry jargon and acronyms
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions (i.e., raise your hand if you’ve seen/heard of….)
- Make connections between what is happening now and the future of the work
- Encourage students to ask questions or consider new points of view
