Energy & Climate Education Project

Energy & climate change have always been important themes for Inside Education.

Our full suite of programs and learning materials incorporate these key concepts into environment and natural resource education in creative and meaningful ways. We are here to support teachers in bringing issues and innovations to the forefront of their lessons while inspiring students to participate in meaningful, community-based projects that empower growth in Alberta. With this we have a full suite of connected programs that can help you bring energy & climate to your classroom!

Teacher Professional Development

Inside Education hosts several energy and climate focused professional development programs each year. The goal is to expose teachers to people, places and perspectives that can enrich their energy & climate lessons. We aim to provide experiences  –  stand under a wind turbine, tour the oil sands, or check out the latest research lab at a university and more!  Teachers will be armed with the knowledge, skills and a wealth of resources to help connect students to the energy & climate topics that are shaping our environment, economy and society.
