Allison has recently moved to a federal focus on energy efficiency, after working in Alberta for the first two decades of her career. She has experience in the regulatory sector, energy efficiency, conflict management and facilitation. She nerds out to behaviour change, policy and great conversations over good eats.
Erinn Drage | Programme Officer, International Union for Conservation of Nature, World Commission on Protected Areas
Youth Environmental Action Panel (Saturday Morning)
Erinn Drage is an environmentalist, filmmaker, protected areas enthusiast and outdoor adventure guide. In recent years Erinn has worked as an expedition guide in the Arctic and Antarctica, directed, shot, and edited digital media series’ for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and conducted research on nature-based tourism economies in the Denali region of Alaska.
Her first feature-length documentary, In the Footsteps of Our Ancestors, follows the story of the Sahtú Dene and the Canol Trail in the Northwest Territories. She currently works full-time in international conservation policy with Parks Canada and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA), while pursuing her other passions by writing and editing film projects on the side.
Dinara Millington | Western Network Lead, The Transition Accelerator

As the Western Network Lead at The Transition Accelerator, Dinara Millington is responsible for catalyzing the development and linkage of a network of strategically located hydrogen hubs across Western Canada. This work includes building and managing strategic relationships, identifying promising locations for new hubs in Western Canada, and developing systems of communication and knowledge sharing to link new hubs.
Dinara’s advanced knowledge of the energy industry and regulatory landscape, along with her technical and leadership skills have contributed to her almost 20-year energy career. In her previous role, Dinara was responsible for leading research programs, liaising with board and senior management, assisting in fundraising, and managing various committees.
Her effective communication skills and ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders are evidenced through publication of numerous research reports and appearances in articles and television interviews with local, national, and international media. Dinara holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics from the University of Calgary.
Ratik Kapoor | Executive Lead, Relectric Car Team

Ratik Kapoor is a final year electrical and computer engineering student at the University of Calgary and the founder of the Relectric Car Team. He’s passionate about sustainability in transportation and tech infrastructure. On Relectric, Ratik helps his team push the boundaries of electric vehicle conversions through hardware and software development. During his university career, Ratik has also interned at Tesla and Versa Networks.
Fei Cheng | MSc student, Environmental Engineering, University of Alberta

Fei completed her BSc in environmental engineering at the University of Alberta. Her research is related to the reuse of an industrial waste material (called bauxite residue produced from the alumina refinery industry) for wastewater treatment application (mainly oil sands process-affected water). Through her research, she wants to share the idea that all wastes are valuable products.
