Traveling Program in Southern Alberta

Join Inside Education for a unique look at Alberta’s Grasslands. This important ecoregion tells a truly Alberta story that connects key themes that are shaping our environment, society and economy. During the program we will take a landscape level look at key topics including: grassland ecology & biodiversity, species at risk, agriculture, oil & gas, watersheds, Indigenous wisdom, climate change and more!
You’ll visit the places and meet the people that are working to maintain and protect Alberta’s prairie grasslands. Together, we’ll explore the landscape and investigate local watershed, natural resource development and environmental issues.
You will leave the program with a deeper understanding and balanced perspective of current and emerging environmental topics, you will have a network of like-minded educators and a toolbox full of learning resources to bring the topic to life in your classroom.
