Focused on British Columbia’s Interior Plains Natural Region, this education tour will provide you with an opportunity to:

• discover the region’s rich natural resources and issues related to development (includes an examination of the programs and projects that ensure integrated use of the landscape by forestry, oil and gas, recreational and traditional users)
• participate in hands-on, outdoor activities that investigate ecology and examine how land management decisions are made
• talk to a variety of individuals, groups and organizations whose initiatives have an impact on BC’s interior plains
• take away lesson ideas and teaching resources to help connect your experience to the classroom
