Generate Edmonton Program

Generate Edmonton will provide Edmonton high school Energy Literacy Teams the opportunity to learn about and participate in the most current energy development, use and conservation activities taking place in Canada.

 

The program will incorporate formal presentations, interactive workshops, behind-the-scenes tours alongside opportunities for cooperative learning amongst the students and teachers.

TED-talk style presentations on:

  • Electricity
  • Home heating
  • Transportation
Energy Activities & Information Exhibition

Students will be divided into two groups – half will participate in hands-on interactive energy activities, the other will visit with a variety of information and career-related booths – the groups will switch after 45 minutes.
