classroom presentations

In a continuing effort to enhance our programs and services, Inside Education is pleased to announce a new online system for requesting class presentations.

There are three steps in this new process:

  1. Submit a presentation request for your school
  2. You will be contacted by an Inside Education team member to select a specific date
  3. Once you and your Inside Education team member have chosen a mutually satisfactory date, you will be asked to submit an on-line confirmation form outlining the specific details for your school
Before you book a presentation, we ask that you consult with the staff at your school to see if other teachers are interested in receiving one of our presentations as well.

Once you have submitted your request, an Inside Education team member will contact you at least one month prior to your selected month, to confirm dates.   Not all requests can be guaranteed, but Inside Educations strives to reach as many communities and schools as possible.

If you have any questions about the new process, or questions about the programs available please contact us at 780-421-1497, or toll free at 1-888-421-1497 or email us at info@insideeducation.ca

An Update on Our Forest Programs and Field Sites
Due to the recent economic challenges facing the financial supporters of Inside Education’s Forest class and field programs, we are currently unable to offer forest specific class presentations in many parts of the province.

Of course, Inside Education continues to speak to the value and role of our forests and lands as well as their integration within Alberta’s water and energy resources through our other class presentations. We also encourage you to consider our current classroom teaching resources and teacher professional development programs that will help you explore these topics with your students.
