Inside Education is thrilled to be partnering with ENMAX to support your schools energy education initiatives. We hope that the teacher and student participants of Inside Education youth summits are inspired by their experience. We encourage you to put together a plan to keep the energy going when you return back to your school. Inside Education and ENMAX have teamed up to provide schools with up to $500 to turn your ideas into action.
Participants of Inside Education’s city-based energy and climate summits:
Each participating school is eligible to apply up for to $500 grant to support energy & climate education in their school.
What can the money be used for?
Provided your project is related to the key themes of the summit – energy, electricity, energy efficiency, climate change etc., the sky is limit and you can be as creative as you wish. We hope that this grant helps extend the learning gained at the summit and we encourage projects that have a wide reach.
Some ideas include: hosting an energy expo for students/parents/community, purchasing energy-related classroom equipment, publishing a book showcasing your experience, mentoring elementary students….
What’s the catch?
Nothing! We just want you to have fun with energy education in your school. We hope that you will share the outcomes of your project through a quick video summary that showcases how you connected to the topic, to students, and to energy education. Don’t worry, it’s easy; here is an example of a animoto video that turns pictures and text into video.
This grant is made possible by ENMAX.
